Stabilization: Trauma and anxiety have a way of stealing our time, attention, and energy and keep us in a state of discomfort and distraction. One of our primary goals is to help you slow down, get grounded, and find the space to address issues from your past. Our medical team, program staff, our curriculum, and weekly activities all work together to provide you with trauma-informed support. Yoga, meditation, healthy food, medical attention, and practical tools are all part of the process of getting you grounded and in the right headspace for personal work. These important adjustments to your lifestyle are an important part of healing.
Once that support is in place we have a range of trauma-specific modalities to help address and process your concerns. These include:
- Cognitive processing therapy (CPT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Somatic Experiencing Tools (SE)
- Neurofeedback? Need more details.
