Rachel is the friendly face at the front desk of Chateau Health & Wellness, where she expertly blends organization, empathy, and a touch of humor into her daily work. Her background is as diverse as her interests - having worked as a patient care tech at a medical detox, a phlebotomist, an office manager, a closed captioner, and a transcriptionist, all backed by studies in behavioral science, language and grammar, herbal medicine, medical transcription, and nutrition.
A passionate musician and lifelong lover of music, Rachel has been playing the flute since 1992 and has performed with the UVU band, the Utah 23rd Army Band, West Valley Symphony, and she currently plays the contrabass flute with the Utah County Flute Choir. Her love for music spans genres from opera and jazz to reggae and metal. She loves discovering new music and is always up for concerts.
A self-taught cook and crochet/amigurumi enthusiast, she also has a passion for dance, particularly ballroom, tap, and swing, which led her to compete internationally as part of the UVU ballroom team. She loves all kinds of plants and animals, and currently has two feline companions and over 50 houseplants. As a mother of three, including two precious angels, Rachel is deeply committed to her roles as a mom, cat mom, and plant mom.
Rachel loves playing board games, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and she loves to cosplay. She runs her own D&D shop on the side, and loves teaching and mentoring new players. After spending 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to the workforce with a wealth of life experience and a nurturing spirit. She strives to live by the motto “Be real, not perfect,” and enjoys making meaningful connections with the people around her.
